West Berkshire
We carried out extensive remodelling, an extension and landscaping of an 1840 Manor Farmhouse in West Berkshire, on a private family owned country estate.
The house was entirely re-orientated; from front to rear, by the replacement of the North-facing section of the existing house with a double-front elevation and walled entrance courtyard, and a new driveway approach through a previously wooded area.
The whole process was enjoyable from start to finish. We have and will recommend Finch A & D to anybody thinking of building.
Terrace, Pool and New Wing
The house was also given a broad new West-facing terrace and swimming pool and enlarged to c. 12,000 sq ft, with the addition of a new kitchen and living wing, of reclaimed brick.
